TRUSTED—IT’S WHO WE ARE

Our founder has had the book Never Give Up on his desk for years.

And if you happen to know Mike Gerber, you’d probably say that’s no surprise.

Mike and his wife Cheryl are the kind of people who believe in perseverance.

In 1991, they opened a small job shop with three employees, one truck — and just two customers.

Today, that shop has grown into a thriving business operation with multiple locations, and our growing list of customers includes companies representing the transportation, automation, contract furniture, food processing and energy product industries — just to name a few.

Mike and Cheryl have never strayed from their steadfast commitment to attentive, customer-focused service—and it shows. (Those two original customers? They’re still with us!)

No matter what — we focus on your needs first. It’s a promise.

Exponential Success

There are a lot of ways to measure the success of a company.

You can look at year-over-year production metrics.

You can create spreadsheets that analyze gross annual revenue and see how those numbers measure up against industry benchmarks.

Or, you can look squarely in the eyes of your customers and say, “Hey—how are things going?”

And when one of those customers tells you they saw a bump in revenue as a direct result of a solution you helped identify and implement … well, there’s nothing quite like that.

It’s what we live for.

We want nothing more than for you to succeed—and when you do, we intend to celebrate right along with you.

On Keeping Promises

True communication and openness is where a promise really gains strength. In business, many unforeseen things can happen that might affect our ability to keep a promise or honor a commitment. When these unforeseen situations arise, it’s important to communicate quickly and openly so the person on the receiving end can understand the situation and be a part of the solution. If this communication does not happen, the situation can ultimate cost everyone time, money and trust — and that’s not something I ever want to jeopardize.

Favorite quote

Success is not what you have done compared to what others have done. Success is what you have done compared to what you were supposed to do.” ― Tony Evans

On Trusted

One thing I love is that our vision to be the most trusted stretches and challenges me both professionally and personally. The trust-building skills we practice at work help me create positive relationships at the office, but they also carry over to life at home. So, work life and home life are better because I’m at Trusted, which I think is a powerful indicator that we’re building something really special here that goes beyond just creating really great products.
